Since I didn’t tell my mom about my earring while my family was here, I just texted her about it. She replied with

Then I had this bizarre urge to confess everything else I’ve done since going to college, illegal, potentially immoral, and most definitely not approved by her. Her response?

Also, apparently my roommate just saw my ex-boyfriend emerging from the bushes below our window.
It’s a good thing I’m ridiculously calm right now.
I just had a really nice heart-to-heart with Sean. We talked about life, about our parents (ours being divorced or separated) and it was really nice.
I don’t think I’ve had that kind of talk with anyone here, not really.
I’ve also got enough nicotine in me now to keep me contemplating things for the next few hours, but it feels good.
