Since I didn’t tell my mom about my earring while my family was here, I just texted her about it.  She replied with 

“I love you ;)”

Then I had this bizarre urge to confess everything else I’ve done since going to college, illegal, potentially immoral, and most definitely not approved by her.  Her response?

“HAHAHAHA!!”

Was this actually easier than I’d thought?

Or maybe her “talk in a bit” will prove otherwise.
